Hello! My name is Ice Age, but unlike the actual ice age, I'm all about spreading warmth and especially about spreading love! I am thought to be a 3-ish year old Hound mix who came to the shelter after I was found as a stray; my plan is that I'll win someone like you over and will be able to leave the shelter as 'your dog!' Since my arrival at SVASC, I have quickly won over the hearts of staff and volunteers alike. Come and meet me and you would see why! I am a big goober, with a heart of gold, who loves to spend time with people and other dogs alike. I love to romp and play outside, enjoy walkies, and tummy rubs... you know, all of the super important things! I do have some crate anxiety about small kennels, but other than that, I've been good as can be. Currently, I'm bunking with another dog and we've made fast friends. SVASC staff think that I would be a great match for someone that is looking for an outgoing, lovable, and goofy pooch, that can fill their home with lots of laughs. Because of my nose, I would do best in a home with either a securely fenced yard or with someone committed to leash walking me. My adoption fee is $125, which covers all of my vetting. If you would like more information on me, please give SVASC a call at (540) 943-5142, email SVASC at [email protected]. I am currently in foster care, so please call ahead and ask about Ice Age!
