About Sage

Meet gorgeous little Sage. She is just 16 months old and such a sweet girl. She loves her people once she gets to know them and realizes they won't hurt her. We believe she may have come from an abusive situation before coming to Raintree as she shows some unease around men. She is good with them if they allow her a day or so of space and gentle handling...she just is scared if they rush her and want to pick her up and get in her face. Sage is an alpha female and does want respect from other dogs. She came to us very malnourished and therefore loves her food and will not allow another dog near it. She is a great little dog and is certainly going to be someone's best Bud. Sage is spayed, current on rabies, dhlpp and bordetella vaccines and is heartworm negative and on prevention.
