Meet Forrest!! Forrest and Jackie came into the shelter together as strays. They have spent sometime in the shelter, before we saw them. They are loving girls with typical puppy energy. Forrest loves being outdoors playing and running around in the fenced yard. She enjoys wrestling with her sister and friends. Tug a war is a fun thing for them to do. Forrest would love to have a family who is active and enjoys the outdoors camping, hiking, or even going on car rides. Forrest is a lovebug and loves her friends and humans. She will make a great snuggler as well. This girl would love to be out with you while you have a nice fire going outside on a crisp night Forrest cannot wait to meet her family who is willing to give her lots of love, fun and obedience training as we recommend with any rescue. Unless otherwise indicated, all dogs adopted through Fetching Hearts have received the following before being available for adoption: Thorough veterinary examination All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (Kennel Cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming, Microchip, Flea and Tick Prevention and Heartworm Prevention. Spay/Neuter All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease. VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward. HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
