About Odie

Odie is a playful, energetic intact male. We found him as a stray in May 2023, but I do believe he would do best with a more active household, as we work a lot. He has anxiety and paces sometimes. We currently use melatonin calming treats for him, but I think more regular activity would help this as well. He had some stranger fear at first, but warmed up very quickly. He gets on well enough with our two older dogs, but they grow annoyed with him quickly. He also gets on fine with our cat! No experience around children; I think the main concern would be his jumping, but he's quite light and limber! He is a certified snuggle bug with the softest coat ever. I think he would love someone to hike and explore with, or maybe a household with younger pets that meet his energy level. We love him, but I truly think he has so much opportunity for a life better suited for him!
