About Ruby

Ruby is a high energy dog with high anxiety, but as long as her routine stays the same and stress-free, she is generally good natured. She would do best with a more active owner or one with a lot of land for running. We have had Ruby for almost 3 years now, and unfortunately have seen her anxiety and her aggression towards our children increase. She suffers from separation anxiety, so she needs someone who can be with her throughout the day. When left alone, she does do well with the crate, but it does stress her out a great deal to be left alone. We are sad to see Ruby go, but we can no longer keep her around our children. We are really hopeful to find someone to adopt her, because we do not want to send her to a shelter. We know that she would be very misunderstood at a shelter and likely put down. Her favorite things are chasing squirrels and playing with her stuffy's. As you can see by her photo, she enjoys sitting in chairs like a human. She is super fast and can jump with the best of the show dogs. She loves to run and be free!
