SPARKY, BOBTAIL CAT MIX Looking at Sparkys' incredibly handsome face, one can notice the blaze that extends from the tip of his nose up to his forehead. I thought his name needed to reflect this distinctive marking, at 7 weeks he was too little for a name like blaze, but it only takes a spark to get a fire going. Therefore, I named him Sparky. *He and his siblings all have short hair from a Bobtail Mix Cat mother. They were found in a grassy, muddy area when their eyes were still closed, by friends in West Virginia who hand fed them all. They needed a safer home because of the large dogs at my friends home, so I had them transported to Northern Illinois. Since arriving in my home I have spent time every day with Sparky and his brother and sister. Although I would love to keep all three kittens, it is obvious to me that two is my maximum number. So I am looking for a forever home for Sparky. *Sparky is motivated by food. After a meal, while his brother and sister are already off playing together, Sparky tries to make sure all three food bowls are as clean as he can get them. *Because he is so energetic, he loves playing tirelessly with his siblings. He also really enjoys it when it's just the two of us are in a room alone together, having some delightful, quality playtime. *Sparky is also extremely active and enjoys exploring and climbing as high up as he can get. *It's true what I have read about bobtails being escape artists, as I can verify that I have to carefully plan ahead so that all kittens are where I want them to safely be. *He is used to someone being around all the time. He hates being left alone and will cry when he's alone in a room. Unknown about being good with children. *Bobtail Cats are NOT related to wild Bobcats. *August 10, 2023 chosen as the Date of Birth.
