About Claude

*Claude *17 months old male Great Dane *Neutered & UTD on vet care, vaccines & preventatives. *Yes. He's a double Merle. *No. He does NOT have any hearing or vision impairments *Crate trained and housebroken *Good with dogs. Looking for a large to extra large canine companion to play with *Good with cats *Kids 8+ yrs old unless they've recently lived with a giant puppy with no awareness of their size *Giant breed experience & physical fence PREFERRED *Location Atlanta GA area *We adopt NATIONWIDE Claude is a 17 month old giant puppy that is very proficient in zoomies, playing with toys and sticks ( sometimes logs!), rides well in the car but does need a barrier to keep him in the back seat and safely out of his drivers lap. He has mastered the Great Dane lean and is very affectionate. Claude would love a big dog buddy to play with. With proper introduction he will do fine with any other friendly and playful larger to extra large dog. He was said to have grown up with cats and has ignored the cat in his foster home. Claude is still working on manners and will need to continue training. He has grown up with kids and is fine with a 5 year old child in his foster home but due to his size and age would be best with kids used to being around a dog that may knock them down. His exposure to men has been limited while in the rescue so men will need to be patient. Claude is neutered, UTD on vet care, vaccines and preventatives. He is currently in a foster home in the Atlanta GA area. We adopt NATIONWIDE but require adopters to travel to the foster home with their current dog/dogs (to ensure they will be friends) to pick up.
