About Buddy

I have a rescue I got 3 years ago. He is a lab mix and has mostly lab traits. He is 5-6 years old. When he came home with me, he was very timid and gun-shy, particularly around men. He is sweet, sweet, sweet, but knows what he wants. He wants to be free. I think he was never homed and roamed free until he was picked up, as he is also a good hunter of moles and groundhogs. He is socialized to people, but will still cower and jolt a bit if a male voice is loud. Perfectly playful and great with other dogs (not with cats). I brought home another rescue, female Ridgeback, and they immediately became best friends, playing, cuddling, etc. He's extremely well-behaved and doesn't chew on anything in the house or anything like that. He is happy NOT being the alpha. He has figured out how to crawl under my fence, so he will need to be able to run free. He will stay around the house. He is afraid of thunder and loud noises and will want to be close to your feet. He is super ticklish and loves hugs, his chest and belly rubbed and to cuddle with you. You wont meet a sweeter dog! I need to rehome him to a free environment and loving home.
