About Mr. O

Meet Mr. O! This sweet puppy found himself in an overcrowded kill shelter in NC, through no fault of his own. He, along with many other healthy pups, were on the euthanasia list to free up kennel space. Our rescue stepped in to save him at the last minute. Mr O is an Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix, about 10 mths old! Quite unique! And true to these breeds, Mr O is very active! These are exceptionally smart pups, and as with most 'working' breeds, they need plenty of physical activities and also mental, such as treasure hunts puzzle toys etc, to tire them out! Mr O does well once he is in the crate! A little squirming and flailing puppy style getting in the crate!! LOL! Even though he is a youngster, he is reallu well behaved! He likes to play, hasn't quite mastered the art of not-so rough play but he'll get there with the right 'pack leader'. Mr O is a lovely sweet pup, probably best suited with an active family - probably make a great hiking, walking or running partner! So, if you or someone you know are interested in adopting Mr. O.
