About Miley

Bullmastiff mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Miley is the SWEETEST girl looking for a new foster/adopter. She was saved from a rural NC shelter's euthanasia list after her owner failed to claim her or respond to messages. Miley is about 4 yrs old, a solid 52lbs but her head appears to weigh a good portion of those!!! and her body looks perfect! Everyone that has met this lovebug absolutely loves her! She was great when we took her to Petco, let both males and females pet her, didn't bark at other dogs, came closer on leash when asked. She wasn't a fan of her bath!!! Though she allowed her ears to be cleaned and provided licks while it was happening :) She gets spurts of energy but is happy laying down next to her person. Miley has been wonderful with children (5yo and 3yo in her foster home) - she loves hugs from them, loves to be talked to and read to, bathes them in licks, and is very excited to see them in the morning. She can jump when she's excited, so a home with small children may not be ideal if they're not used to larger dogs. She enjoys car rides, laying next to you on the couch, or jumping on the bed even when she knows she's not sleeping there. Fully housetrained and she does well in a crate. She ignored cats roaming around at the vet, but our foster home does not have cats to test her temperament. Miley has been fine walking near other dogs, but her foster siblings have a lot of energy and she gets a little anxious when they get too exuberant close to her. Miley is looking for a foster/adopter with a less chaotic space. She is already fully vetted and spayed and ready to go home. Miley did test positive for heartworms so the rescue will treat her for this after adoption. So, if you or someone you know are interested in adopting with Miley. Please contact KENNEDY by email or TEXT at (802)673-9026. [NOTE: Miley is currently being fostered in the South. Transport will scheduled for her to be brought to the Northeastern States for serious adopters only. We will transport her as close to you as we can.]
