American Staffordshire Terrier mix

*URGENT - Foster/Adopter Needed ASAP* Meet Malachi! What an absolutely stunning, gorgeous, soulful fall into my eyes, good looking boy!! Malachi found himself in an overcrowded kill shelter in NC, through no fault of his own. Record numbers of owner surrenders in shelters across Southern states, has resulted in shelters euthanising healthy pets daily, to free up kennel space. In some cases, we cannot find enough fosters to keep up with the demand, and sometimes, we have to place them in boarding kennels to save their lives. Malachi was one of those healthy pets put on the euthanasia list, just to free up kennel space. We could not let that happen to this boy! Our rescue saved him, he is in boutique boarding and now ready to go to his furever home!! Malachi with his stunning red chestnut golden velvety coat, is a highly energetic boy! He will need a strong human pack leader to guide and show him the way, with positive training and reinforcement. Plenty of physical activity and mental stimulation in puzzle toys, treasure hunts, hiking, running, maybe even some agility, would help Malachi exert that energy and enable him to thrive as a whole. Malachi is a sweet boy, full of life, he does like to play with toys, though he prefers to keep his toys to himself and close to him!! An active family and/or a nice sized fenced yard, with plenty of physical and mental activities, would be ideal! So, if you or someone you know are interested in adopting Malachi. Please contact KENNEDY by email or TEXT at (802)673-9026. [NOTE: Malachi is currently being boarded in the South. Transport will be scheduled for him to be brought to the Northeastern states for serious adopters only. We will transport them as close to you as possible.]
