About POMPANO

The shelter volunteers say that I'm an easy-going dog. I'm a handsome brown and black Shepherd mix around five years old with ears that sometimes slightly flop over. I currently weigh 81 pounds. The volunteers appreciate how patient I am when they come to take me in or out of my cage. I also sit politely for treats and take them gently. I know basic commands like 'sit' 'down' and 'shake'. Playing fetch is one of my all-time favorite pastimes. You are in luck if you don't like chasing after balls. I bring the ball back to YOU and drop it by your feet. I also like to run along the fence with my dog friend Kira if she's out in the adjacent yard. I'm a very affectionate dog and will snuggle up to the volunteers for some attention and petting. I'm also a good walking partner. Despite my size I'm well behaved on a leash. My affectionate nature would likely make me a great companion for a family. ## See attached video of Pompano! ##
