About CeeCee

*URGENT - Need Foster/Adopter ASAP!!** CeeCee was placed in a temporary foster home, so we could save her from euthanasia at a local shelter. Only days earlier last week, she had found herself at an overcrowded kill shelter, through no fault if her own. The shelter put this sweet pup, along with many other perfectly healthy pets, on the euthanasia list to free up kennel space. We scrambled, found a very temporary foster,so our rescue group could get her out of the shelter and into a safe place. We need to find an adopter ASAP so we can save another pup from euthanasia and put in this foster home! Meet CeeCee A very cute, approx 3 year old pittie type mix, shes on the larger size, coming in at 62 lb, so we think she has some other large breed or two mixed in there! CeeCee is extremely sweet and just gorgeous!! She is house trained. She walks wonderful on a leash, no pulling whatsoever. CeeCee doesn't get wild when she sees people or other animals!!! She does like to chew though, on trim specifically! Not unusual for a pup in a strange environment. It takes awhile to feel safe, to feel not going to be abandoned again. So she would probably thrive in a home with an active family, where she will get plenty of physical exercise. Mental exercises, such as puzzle toys, or treasure hunts are good ways to keep that brain occupied! A frozen veggie, or cottage cheese, or peanut butter filled kong would work any boredom out! She has been around young children and is ok, but she looks very uncomfortable, as if she doesn't really want to be around them. A home with older kids is going to be more suitable for CeeCee. And no cats either! Poor girl does not like the crate at all! So we are working reassuring her it's a nice personal space area just for her! This sweetheart needs her furever home ASAP!
