About Lucy

Hi! We adopted Lucy last March from a domestic violence situation. We worked hard with a trainer to rehabilitate her. However, the trainer feels Lucy needs to be in a home with no children or other dogs. We have a 3 year old that Lucy growls at, and she is clearly uncomfortable around small children. We are devastated as we love Lucy very much, but my youngest is not safe around her. Lucy is smart, sweet, cuddly, loving, and full of personality. She just has some baggage from her previous home. I would also like to add that she is uncharacteristically calm for an Aussie, but gets nervous around new people. She is about 4 years old and up to date on all her shots, heartworm prevention, etc..
