About Buddy

Hi - my name is Buddy. I was seen running the highway and a nice lady hired someone to trap me in order to get me to safety. I have been vetted and was Heartworm positive but have been treated. I am pretty indifferent with cats and leave them alone but I am great with other dogs. I have a submissive personality, very loving, and seeks out attention. I am good with kids, but my size and energy gets in the way because they may get pushed to the side or hit by my tail. If people are concerned about this, I would not recommend younger children than five he would be great with someone who enjoys walking a lot or running. I am housetrained, but we are working on curbing counter surfing. I don't jump on people but sometimes excitement gets in the way. I know basic commands but am learning more and more each day.
