About Ranger

Adoption Fee: $250
Mountain Cur / Australian Cattle Dog
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male Ranger is a ~2-3 year old stray dog (possible mountain cur, shepard, cattle dog, boxer mix?) who was found in July not neutered or micro-chipped. He has been posted on every site possible to try to find an owner, as well as shared his story/information with over 50 shelters/rescues in the area for visibility and/or assistance. Since July, he's been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and more recently has completed a board and train program. He'd do best in a home where he can be properly introduced and join a 'pack' of one or more dogs, a home that has a yard or more land (not an apartment), and a home without cats. He is working to overcome some leash aggression, but is eager to be trained and please his pack leader. He has not yet been tested with kids, but older kids would be more ideal if willing to be considered. He absolutely loves playing fetch in an open field and loves snuggling up to his pack leader/family at home as well. He has a lot of love to give his next family!
