Meet Gus, a stunning one-year-old, 68 lb. husky/great pyrenees mix with one brown and one blue eye. Gus has a long and soft cream-colored coat and an adorable fluffy curly tail. After becoming an owner surrender, he was just a half hour from euthanasia at a high-kill shelter in Texas before we jumped in just in time to save him. He's now in a loving foster home awaiting his furever family. Gus is a gentle giant with a heart as big as his frame. He absolutely loves everyone he meets including other dogs and kids. He is not recommended for a home with cats or small children. Gus will greet everyone with a big bear hug and kiss. He also thinks he's a lap dog and will snuggle up right on top of you. This social butterfly thrives on human love and attention. He enjoys running around the yard, going on car rides, walks around the neighborhood, and playing with his toys. Gus is young and will need basic training. He must go to a home with a fenced yard and will make a wonderful addition to any family. His adoption fee is $400 and Gus is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and will be neutered next month.
