About Max

This is Max. We rescued him from an aweful dog shelter where he would be sitting in a crate all day. He is house broken, wonderful with kids, and enjoys attention. Unfortunately he has become quite overbearing with our other dog(female )and flees from our house every chance he gets. He loves walks, but unfortunately with our new work schedules his quality of life took a hit and he has started to find other avenues to get attention. Jumping up on counters, stealing food, etc. We have 2 children (age 7 and 17 months) which he is very good with..except he steals food right out of their hands despite training at several attempts to train him. He is trainable but needs consistency and someone familiar with his breed as we are not. We know he's a great dog but are not able to provide the best quality of life for him. He loves new people and being close to family bit his quality of life and happiness are not where he deserves them to be.
