About Sachi

Sachi is a female Malamute, German Shepherd, Irish wolfhound mix who just turned 7. She weighs about 90lbs. She is spayed, in great health, and up to date on all vaccinations. She is house trained and knows basic commands. She is very mellow when at home, loves hiking, is very affectionate, and is content to sleep in late. She does have a sensitive stomach so she eats grain and legume-free food. On this diet, she doesn't have any issues. She has had aggression issues with other dogs. She also barks at first when people walk up to the door. She could benefit from some training around these things. She is very responsive to training when it is kept up with. She would be a great candidate for someone who is interested in practicing training with her. With this consistent engagement I believe she could be very successful at making some dog friends again. She would do best in a stable and mellow environment, without young children or other animals. She would need either a fenced-in yard, or a lot of space without visible or close neighbors.
