About Eleanor

Eleanor (Ellie, El, Eleanor the Degenerate) is sweetheart. Once bonded with her human she is playful and loyal. She lives with multiple other dogs but this is not an ideal situation for her. She feels the need to compete for attention and becomes more rambunctious. When by herself she has stayed right next to me without a leash or being reminded. She loves to cuddle and has been around multiple other dogs, cats, horses, birds, and children without issue. We have been working on crate training her. She listens well but can be vocal. We also have worked diligently on her nipping which she has taken well to. She will mouth your hand but is mindful to be gentle. I recommend continued training for her to ensure she does not revert to ACD natural tendencies. El should be with someone who is an experienced dog owner, preferably one familiar with ACDs. She would do best as an only dog but having a playmate could be beneficial. She is a special dog, special color, and special breed. She has so much love to give and deserves a home that can provide the one on one time she craves.
