About Hattie

This 7 month old 23 pound girl is the full package. HATTIE is such a sweet loving little girl who loves everyone and likes to give kisses. Loves to cuddle and hang out with you. She walks well on a leash and rides in the car without getting sick. I pulled HATTIE from our city's very high kill shelter. She had been hit by a car and had a broken front leg that has completely healed. I was surprised that at such a young age that she was so well mannered and behaved. She must have had a family that loved her before ending up in the shelter. I am happy I rescued her and happy to have her in my home as she has been a good girl. I cannot figure out her body, she has short legs that have all of the markings of a cattle dog and it makes her body look long like a bassett hound but overall she is a mini German Shepherd who will probably gain 10 more pounds to top out as an adult. I am not sure that she will get any taller. She has small paws so she is not a bassett hound. More pictures are available, this site only allows 1 picture. Hattie gets along with all of the foster dogs, she really enjoys playing with them especially the much smaller dogs. She is really good with the little ones and plays well with them.
