About Blanche

Everyone meet Blanche, a beautiful female two year old Bichon Fris̩ and weighs 14 lbs. She is a special soul just like Blanche from Golden Girls. Being unabashedly vivacious, an entertainer at heart, and having an abundance of charm and the ability to engage those around her. In her short life she has certainly been around the block. She comes off timid and nervous when she meets new people. She is learning to trust people as she hasn't been able to trust in her past relationships. Her foster mom has been working on her social skills and meeting new people but she still has work to achieve once she lands in her forever home. She has made huge progress on her potty training but likes her person to be with her. So she needs to work with her forever home to learn their habits and to be patient with her. Blanche LOVES walks and would do well with an active home that likes going out with her. She will not do well in a home with children. She likes other dogs. She wouldn't be phased by other animals in general but certainly likes to own the attention. She isn't impacted by other animals on walks. She is very nervous and needs to be around adults. She is crate trained and sleeps there every night but would be more than happy to snuggle in bed with her person. Her cuddles and kisses are the absolute best. Her perfect home would be patient and loving to give her the opportunity to trust and grow. Also as a reminder due to her breed she will require regular professional grooming.
