About Princess Peach

Meet Princess Peach! She's a 3 year old pittie who has a big smile and a bigger heart! She was cut from a chain where she was eating trash and looked to have recently weaned a litter of puppies.. tossed aside and discarded. She had wounds to her ears and hind legs, possibly from mating, and those are now healed. She was taken to the shelter and put on the deadline list due to capacity issues. She caught my eye because while the others dogs were barking and going crazy, she sat there waiting for treats quietly, with a wagging tail. She loves to play and zoomie in the yard, but can also hang out and be very chill when inside. She is playful with other dogs and cats and listens to commands well. She is excellently crate trained and house trained. We are working on not jumping to greet friends as she gets excited and wants to give kisses to everyone she meets. Princess would do great in almost any environment but would need a yard to play in and people that would love her as much as she would love them! She is currently heartworm positive and getting treatments and will continue treatments until complete even if adopted. Please consider opening your heart and home to this precious girl today!
