Puppy energy Playful Sweet and cute! Takes treats gently Loves belly rubs -Loves to roll around in grass and lay in the shade - Very affectionate If you want a young dog who is ready to learn your lifestyle, sweet and crate-trained with the perfect energy level and so much love to give, look no further! Anyone who meets Wesley automatically exclaims 'Aw he is adorable!' He is the definitions of a fun & loving pup. With a goofy run and always being happy to see you, he is sure to brighten anyone's life. He may be listed as 9 months old but his soul is that of an older dog. He is wise and intuitive, knowing when to be calm and constantly checks in with his person, he is eager to please. He will for do anything for a belly rub and constantly flops at your feet or in your arms for some cuddles. He loves playing with toys and will quietly keep himself entertained with a stuffed animal that he tosses to himself or gnaws on a bone at your feet. Since he has been in foster, he hasn't made a peep. Wesley easily crates and doesn't make a sound all night. His coat is super sleek and shiny. He sits on command and is quickly learning the sit/stay trick. He can be a puppy play style with doggie friends and needs to work on his playing manners. This shouldn't be a hard task as he is a very fast learner. He plays with the dogs and then comes back to check in with his person. Being that he is so young, he is very malleable & trainable to any type of lifestyle. His is quite calm for a dog of 9 months and his energy is medium. He is perfectly content just relaxing chewing a bone or playing in the yard. Because he is a young pup who is just learning how to control his gangly legs, he sometimes doesn't realize his body and will accidentally bump into small children. This is absolutely a workable skill that can be easily trained to avoid once he learns that he needs to be careful. He is interested in cats and would benefit from learning that they don't want to play for him. Again, this is completely trainable, he is a new life that needs to learn the ropes of what is expected from him. A few treats and he will be eager to do whatever his human wants from him (as long as there is food and cuddles involved!) After being overlooked in the shelter for 1.5 months, this gentle soul is deserving of a home. We promise he will repay you by being the best boy in the world!
