About Nico

Nico is around 2 years old-perhaps 6 months younger. He is a pretty high energy dog and will need another dog to play with so his humans can get some sleep at night! He is without a doubt, the smartest dog we have seen-learning to sit and go down in one day, and housebroken in less than 3 days. Nico isn't bad with children, just true to his border collie breed, he will herd kids by nipping at their heels or nudging them to stay close by. He will knock them down for sure, so we are suggesting age 10 and up. He is very agile, and can leap, jump, and balance on beams. He still needs work on a leash. The perfect yard would be fenced so he can burn off his energy for hours each day...looking for a search and rescue dog, or and agility dog, -well, he is your pup!
