About Snoopy

Look at this little love! Snoopy is a 15 pound bishon mix who came to us when his owner passed away. Unfortunately, there was no plan in place for Snoopy and no one could even tell us how old he is! We do believe that Snoopy is a mature adult. He is deaf but we understand that he has been since birth. Snoopy is big joy in a little package! He is wonderful snuggler and good with other dogs. Snoopy needed a refresher on house training and is doing wonderfully, but does need an adopter to understand that he may need structure, routine and schedule when he moves to his forEVER home! Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
