About Mila

Adoption Fee: $600
Great Dane
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Location: Wapwallopen, Pennsylvania DOB: 4-18-2022 Mila is a beautiful black Great Dane who has had quite the journey from roaming the streets of South Texas to the serene green pastures of Pennsylvania. This sweet girl has undergone a remarkable transformation, evolving from a timid and anxious soul to an integral part of a loving foster family. Upon her arrival, Mila displayed signs of fear and anxiety, but with time and care, she is blossoming into a fantastic family member. Despite her progress, the transition to a forever home will require patience and understanding as she will need some time to adjust. Mila is not aggressive; she is simply scared, looking for a family willing to provide the support and fortitude she needs. One key factor in Mila's confidence building has been the presence of children (ages 8+). She adores their playful energy and seeks a forever home with respectful kids whose silly shenanigans can bring her joy. Mila also battles separation anxiety, making a family that spends most of their day at home an ideal fit. This gentle giant gets along famously with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. A confident canine companion would be a benefit for her, as she quickly formed a deep bond with a Border Collie at her current residence. However, Mila's curiosity got the better of her when introduced to cats, chickens, and turkeys, therefore recommending a cat free zone and no small farm animals. On the other hand, she met goats with a playful curiosity. A fenced-in yard is a necessity for Mila, who revels in her romps around the open space. She is housebroken, crate trained, and diligently working on basic obedience. Mila's demeanor is marked by her quiet nature, minimal barking, gentle treat-taking, and an unquenchable desire for cuddles and hugs. Her daily explorations reveal a keen sense of wonder, often accompanied by adorable head tilts and perked ears. In essence, Mila can be best described as a 'sweetheart.' Her affectionate nature is evident in her love for cuddling, following her family everywhere, and always craving hugs. Her enthusiasm for squeaky toys and bones is off the charts. She doesn't love balls but fetch might still be in her skillset if the ball squeaks.. Do you have a home brimming with love and patience, ready to embrace Mila with love and a commitment to further her confidence? If so, get in touch and open your heart to this delightful sweetheart. She is ready for her forever family. ========================= To apply to adopt me, please fill out the application form! https://form.jotform.com/51994996709176
