About Sprout

(DOB 6/05/2023). Due to Sprout's young age, she has not yet been spayed. For this reason, WE ARE ONLY CONSIDERING ADOPTION WITHIN 1 HOUR OF WAKE FOREST NC NO EXCEPTIONS). Sprout is a tiny, fabulous little girl that has an adorable personality. She is so little she can't even do regular stair yet. We're talking little nugget! Sprout has a lot of puppy energy and wants someone who is home a good part of the day. She isn't interested in hanging out by herself for long periods of time. She gets a long with other dogs, is cat friendly and good with kids and strangers. She is just little social butterfly. Sprout wants someone who will play with her and then when she's tuckered out someone to snuggle with, too. Little Sprout needs someone who can keep up with the antics of a puppy. This means both 2-legged and 4-legged family members. Since she is a young pup, another dog is important for proper socialization. Because she is so little, it is important for her family to be aware of where she is so she isn't under foot. So no young kids for little Sprout and ones the importance of proper handling so 8+ years for the kiddos. Sprout will likely follow you around and want to be with her peeps. You won't be lonely with Sprout around! She has an extra little spring to her step as she was born with one foot turned slightly inward/little longer than the others. It's Sprout's signature step! Since Sprout is still young, she is still working on crate training, potty training, and the like. Since she is still a pup taking her out to play and potty throughout the day is important for little Sprout. Her new family will want to be prepared for puppy-hood and have a good amount of time to work on training and polite behavior. As part of Sprout's $325 adoption fee, she will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. In addition to the adoption fee, a $100 spay/neuter deposit and puppy spay/neuter agreement will also be required. The deposit will be returned once the puppy is altered.
