About Daisy Mae

Adoption Fee: $250
Cockapoo
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

If you see this ad, she is available! Daisy Mae is guessed to be about 8 or 9 yrs old & weighs 25 pounds. She's healthy; HW Neg, Vaccinated, Spayed, Had a recent Dental & microchipped. She walks well on a leash but isn't very active and doesn't like long walks. She prefers to do her business and come back indoors. She's crate-trained and prefers the safety of the open crate even when we're home. She's also potty pad trained and doesn't make messes indoors as long as she's set up for success. Daisy Mae is a really good girl for the groomer and she's great with the cats here but at her first home, she was kept outdoors only so she's scared of other dogs and tends to be very reactive towards them. Her 2nd home was with a wonderful retired lady who, unfortunately, passed away. Daisy thrived in that environment so we're looking for something similar for her now. We're specifically looking for a retired person or someone who is home full-time to give her the attention she deserves. She's fine to be left alone for a few hours but really does prefer to be with her person and will follow you from room to room. Daisy Mae's favorite thing to do is be in a lap for belly rubs. She's not really into strangers and wouldn't be a good candidate for art walks or stores that allow pets. She's never once acted aggressively towards any of us or our visitors but it scared of strangers. She's a super sweet girl who has been through some very rough times and could really use a soft, loving voice to love her through her golden years.
