Sir Bowser found himself in rescue after he aged out of high profit margins for puppy mills. Their loss has certainly been our gain, I mean look at that face! The puppy mill alleges that Bowser is a 'cavapoo' (Cavalier and Poodle mix), but our best guess is 'mini goldendoodle' (Mini Poodle and Golden Retriever mix) - which was initially what we were told, but the paperwork said differently?! We estimate that Bowser will reach approximately 35 pounds fully grown but it is hard to say. He is approximately 20 pounds at 7 months old. He would benefit from an active family who has time for walks and play, but he also loves laying around and cuddling. He enjoys children and other dogs of all sizes and ages but can be due rough with young kids due to his size. He is cat-friendly but likes to chase them every once and a while. Bower travels well but does get car sick without motion sickness medication in advance. He is approximately 85% housetrained if let out regularly. He does go to the door when he needs to potty. Bower is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is fostered in Curwensville, PA and is available for an adoption fee of $450.00. Transport assistance is available and starts at an additional $50 for up to 100 miles. Transport assistance is based on volunteer availability. The transportation fee will help with mileage reimbursement.
