About Snoopy

Before contacting me please read the entire post. I'm not a rescue or rescue affiliated. I'm a regular person trying to find this boy an amazing home. Snoopy is a 2 year old male 'doxiepoo' my niece (not really related just a daughter of a good friend) got him as a puppy and took amazing care of him UNTIL she got a new puppy and the new wore off. Snoopy has been kept in a kennel for months because he 'didn't like the new puppy' and her boyfriend no longer 'liked' him. She begged me to take him in because the boyfriend threatened to dump him. He was completely matted and smelled like pee. He was absolutely terrified! It took me over an hour to get the Mats and smell off him. He just laid there and let me do what I needed. He was amazing. His nails also over grown and his poor feet were urine burned and stained. I've bathed him several times and he still has light staining that will just have to fade off.he still have marks on him. I believe they were hitting him with a stick or hanger. He also was covered in fleas it was a mess. Snoopy is very shy with new people. However he loves people especially kids! He does bond to one person. He loves sleeping on the bed at night and loves to play and play with toys. He also knows 'come' and 'sit' loves being on a warm lap when he can. He's the most gentle and loyal little man. Id say he weight over 10 pounds 15 at the most? He's supposedly had all his shots but nobody can provide those records so he will need his rabies redone and I did microchip him and give him a booster vacciontion as well as full deworming and flea/tick treatment. He does have an underbite but it doe not affect him. Snoopy needs a forever home. I'd keep him but I have 4 of my own and can't have 5 due to restrictions. I just couldn't leave him there. There is a $180 adoption.i want the best home possible.
