About Cece

Cece is a very sweet girl who is 12 years young and weighs 12-1/2 pounds. She is down from the 14 pounds she was when she came into the rescue....she could stand to lose a few more pounds to be at her bikini weight! We think she is a Papillion/Chihuahua mix who was originally adopted from the county shelter approximately 10 years ago and was surrendered to Pathways when her owner could no longer care for her. She is a playful girl who seems to love everyone she meets, especially children. She does well with other dogs and likes to play, but due to her age, she would do best in a home with another older playful dog who is more her speed! Her previous owner didn't do much training with her, so she will need a refresher course in basic training and leash walking. She would benefit from daily walks once it gets cooler. She rides well in the car and loves squeaky toys. Cece does have some food allergies and her foster mom has done a wonderful job narrowing down what she can eat that doesn't cause her problems. She is allergic to chicken and eggs, but does well eating dog food with limited ingredients and treats of sweet potatoes, apples and green beans. This sweet girl would make a wonderful companion for someone who is retired and maybe has a couple of grandkids that come to visit! Cece is up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped.
