Luna was found tied up in a grocery bag placed inside of a dumpster when she was around 2 weeks old. She was hand raised & bottle fed. We found her April 14th 2018 and gave birth to our first child on August 16 of the same year. She has 3 human siblings ages 5, 3, and a newborn . She is an incredible family member and friend. She loves swimming, playing fetch, going for walks & runs. She knows all of her commands (sit, stand, spin, up, lay down, speak, speak loud, speak quiet, shake, high five.) she loves taking a shower and going for car rides. Our new family addition is severely allergic to her breaking out in hives, struggling to breath, and unable to coexist with her in the home. Luna has an itching problem that we have been unable to diagnose and believe it's related to the initial stress/anxiety of being thrown away like trash. That causes and excessive amount of dander and hair to be floating through the house. As a parent of three, I'm also sweeping, moping, vacuuming, and dusting three times a day to try to help with the allergens floating around yet I can not keep up with it. She's a beautiful dog. We have reached out to every shelter, rescue, and the general public in and around Lafayette Indiana and no one will take her in. We are giving it 30 days to find her a new home. Her vet has already scheduled to euthanize her if we can not find someone to take her in. Adoption fee will go towards a new bed to send with Luna to her new home.
