About Maya

Hello there! I'm Maya and I'm a Siberian Husky and my rescuers think that I may be around 3 years old. I even have the signature beautiful blue eyes! I'm a very sweet girl and super well behaved. I know basic commands and I'm crate/potty trained. My family dumped me at a gas station on a very fast and busy road. I waited for them for over a month for them but they never came back for me. I was hungry and scared and giving up hope that they would comeback until a miracle happened! Some very nice ladies took me in and found a rescue to take care of me. My foster mom says I'm staying with her until she finds me my Furever Match! How great is that?! I guess I got REALLY lucky and the worst day of my life ended up being a blessing in disguise. I am doing ok with other dogs but I am a little bossy and do not take any crap from the other dogs. I would probably do best in a home without cats or farm animals since I am a husky after all and I like to chase them.. can you blame me though?! They seem like so much fun to chase and they smell funny. I absolutely love all people though, even the kiddos! Anyway, are you looking for your Furever Match? If so, maybe I'm the girl for you!
