About Nellie

Our Nellie girl is a 6 month old, female, Belgian Malinois/Poodle mix looking for a great forever home. Nellie is smart as a whip (duh, given her breed mix) and already knows a handful of commands with an eagerness to learn more. She's house trained, sleeps in a crate at night, and loves to play with her canine friends. She can be a bit shy when meeting new people and other dogs tend to help her overcome this more quickly. For this reason, we feel she will be best suited with a live in canine companion. Nellie will thrive in a home with a fenced in yard and plenty of physical and mental stimulation. She hasn't been around younger kiddos so we'd recommend older kids for her forever home. Feline friends, well�'�|.those that believe themselves to be more sophisticated canines may work as Nellie really wants to play with them and may not understand when they ask her to respect boundaries.
