Located in Anderson, SC but available for adoption anywhere in the United States. Charlie Chaplin is an almost 6 year old, 15- pound Malti-poo who was saved from euthanasia after his owner claimed he snapped at a grandchild. Ever since coming into rescue, this boy has been nothing but happy and gentle. Whoever ends up being his family will know right away that they have something special. He is loving and has never met a stranger. Charlie loves to snuggle, so if you're not into sharing your chair or lap, he might not be the guy for you. He is crate trained, rides great in a car, is leash trained, and doesn't talk much. He is dog friendly, but honestly, he's more interested in his humans, so being an only dog would be great too. He just started playing with toys, and he loves them. He is working on his potty habits and doing very well, making sure to let us know when he needs to go outside. He is fully vetted and healthy! While we don't see Charlie Chaplin having a mean bone in him, due to the reported history of snapping at a young child, we do feel he should not go to home with children under 12 years of age. To adopt Charlie Chaplin, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, bloodwork, microchip, neuter, and all the love you can handle!
