About Marlin (Kim-NE)

Adoption Fee: $350.00
Beagle / Lab
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Meet Marlin! Marlin is a handsome 6 month old pup ready to find his forever family. Marlin is a shy soul who would be best suited in a home with older children and another dog. He does very well having a confident canine buddy to role model and gain confidence from. Marlin is in a foster home with a younger fearless pup and is doing great with her. At first he is very timid when meeting new people, especially young children if they are loud, or active. He tends to hide until he feels comfortable. Older children/teens will be better at giving him his space, and respecting his behavior. He has bonded with his foster mom and looks to her for reassurance and protection when he is scared. He can get a little possessive with his food (not treats or toys) and only with another dog, not people, he's fine if we approach and take his food, etc. While this makes Marlin sound problematic, it is just that he needs a patient and loving owner to bring him along. He is still a baby and learning every day. He needs someone to take a chance on him and show him how awesome life can be! Marlin is healthy, neutered and up to date on shots. He will be a medium sized adult in the 45-55 range we believe. If you are living in a condo or apt and have weight restrictions on pets please be aware that we can not guarantee adult size! Marlin is in New England and ready to find his forever family. The adoption donation is $350 which includes a health certificate and costs for his transport north. If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please go to www.angelsamongusanimalrescue.org and fill out an online adoption application. Thank you! *Unless stated otherwise, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, on flea/tick product and heartworm prevention medicine (if older than 5 months) and micro chipped prior to adoption.
