Meet Eeyore! Eeyore was abandoned in a vet clinic parking lot, under the receptionist's car, as a puppy. He has grown up in our rescue! He looks like a shepherd/smooth collie mix--we think. His ears are oversized and he hasn't grown into them! Eeyore is lively and happy, not at all like his namesake! He has been neutered and is UTD on shots. Eeyore is 2 years old, weighs 50 pounds and is ready to travel. From Eeyore's foster dad: I would say Eeyore is a fantastic, loving dog. Who has spurts of energy because he enjoys to run and play but he's not overwhelming. He's a happy dog with a very calm and gentle side as well. Very smart not a big barker. Great with other dogs, big and small and kids. He enjoys gentle touches, soft kisses, talking sweet to him turns him into jello. He just sinks into ur lap. He would make a fantastic addition to most families. He's unique in his look and does not have typical markings, which always makes a big conversation starter if out and about.. he would be a great companion for a Family or another dog. Would be a great dog park dog, he's good on a leash and just an over all amazing dog with a gentle soul. I'd also say he is a medium sized dog about 50 pounds, but carries it well. He does not look like he weighs that much. Eeyore is currently in TN in a foster home, but will be transported north to New England for adoption. The adoption donation is $300 which includes a health certificate and costs for his transport north. *Unless stated otherwise, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, on flea/tick product and heartworm prevention medicine (if older than 5 months) and micro chipped prior to adoption. *Please note that while we do our best to accurately state the breed or breed mix of a dog, we often have very limited information to draw from. Identifying the breed without pedigrees and information on heritage can be very challenging! If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please go to www.angelsamongusanimalrescue.org and fill out an online adoption application. Thank you! Massachusett's Residents: Effective September 28, 2017 a Quarantine Fee of $100 will be required (in addition to the adoption fee) to adopt a dog that has been Quarantined. Massachusetts mandates that all dogs entering MA shall be quarantined for 48 hours in a state approved facility.
