About Raul

Raul came to us from Yuma weighing only 3.5 lbs and in poor health. In rescue he has been getting healthier and now weighs closer to 5 lbs. He recently had a dental cleaning along with his neuter and lost 14 teeth! He may need to be monitored in the future for his thyroid (borderline) though that is easily treatable. He also has a minor issue where the tip of his penis extends slightly outside the sheath but we have opted not to put him through the surgery since it is not painful for him and is more 'cosmetic'. Raul is a sweet happy boy and could fit into lots of different types of family situations though due to his size would likely not be best in a home with small children or rowdy dogs. He is estimated around 6 years old. Raul seems as though he may be housebroken or mostly housebroken and he is leash trained though is certainly also the perfect purse sized dog.
