Hi, my name is Gunnar. I'm a good looking, energetic guy, who is about 2 years old and I weigh about 50 pounds. Although I can be a bit shy with people at first, once I warm up, I love attention and enjoy being handled. I will do best with an active family that can keep up with me and is willing to provide me the training I need to become a good canine citizen. I know the commands Come, Off, Sit and Stay. I am friendly, playful and affectionate. I love to chase balls and while at the shelter I also love playing in the pool, so I'm hopeful my new family will get me one! I have a high prey drive so my home should have no cats or other small animals and my new home should understand that I will also try to chase cats outside of my home, so I should not be off leash. I have separation anxiety, so I will need my new home to work on that with me as I may become destructive when left alone. I have antenna ears and a beautiful charcoal colored coat. Come check me out! For more information about how to meet adoptable animals, please call the Jackson County Animal Shelter at 541-774-6654 and press 5 for adoptions.
