About Jake

Jake is a 7 year old, akc registered Labrador who will steal your heart with his wagging tail, big brown eyes and mad snuggle skills. Jake is another of the adult labs we rescued from a backyard breeding situation, he is still learning how to be a dog & not just a puppy maker. Jake is crate trained, neutered, microchipped, vaccines UTD & Hw- Jake has a possible chicken allergy so a poultry free diet is required. Jake is a gentle soul! Jake does well with tiny humans�ٴ� he prefers to be slowly introduced to new dogs, a female companion would be preferable. Jake enjoys chasing tennis balls, walks, belly rubs, cuddling, being brushed He is a quick learner, currently working on walking with a leash and not stealing food (I have a weakness for bread). I will need someone who is patient as I am still learning to navigate 'life on the outside'. I do best with positive reinforcement.
