About Takashi

This is a courtesy post. Takashi is located in Davis and his family is willing to travel to committed adopters anywhere in the western U.S. to find him a more suitable home. 'Hi, my name is Takashi and I am 5 years old. I love to cuddle. My favorite thing to do is lean on people because I love to be close. I have a silly and playful personality. I am originally from Kauai. I was very skinny as a pup and never knew where my next meal would come from. I am perfectly potty trained, and have graduated from Basic Skills, Performance Sports, Recall, Loose Leash Walking courses. I am a sweet dog who needs to be an only dog because I did not learn to share growing up and am a resource guarder. I am great with humans but understandably not good with sharing with other dogs or cats. I'm too excitable to be around kids so I hang out in my crate if I'm around kids. I'm crate trained but my current family only leaves me in my crate for short periods of time. I walk perfectly on leash if my pawrents have treats in a pouch, otherwise I get excited (to play) when I see other dogs.'
