About Gypsy

Meet Gypsy! This cutie patootie is a sweet but shy 1-year-old female mix who is being fostered while waiting for a forever home. Her biggest hope is to have a dog sibling. The local wishing well is full of her pennies and guess what she wished for her first birthday? Gypsy is a wonderful young dog who just needs confidence. An experienced dog-loving family with a compatible canine playmate will help ease her fears and show her the world isn't so big and bad. Gypsy freezes up when she meets new people and new environments, though with time, she warms up and trusts people and surroundings. A dog with stranger danger should not be forced to 'face her fears' so we'd like someone experienced with shy dogs to be her rescue hero. Gypsy is a nicely sized, 30-pound super mutt. Her 'face mask' gives her a unique look. Get her DNA tested for a breed guessing game with friends! She enjoys playing with dogs of both genders. She is not cat tested, and probably won't be. A fenced yard is ideal but not a requirement. Due to her fear, busy areas and apartment buildings are not a match. Children must be 10 years or above, however a quiet home is best. She is currently living in a very busy household which is not so easy for her. Her perfect match is out there, so please share her availability with all your friends!
