About Heidi

Heidi is a very beautiful purebred sable German Shepherd. I bought her from a breeder who breeds police dogs and sells the ones that do not make the police force. She has been through a year of training. Starting at about 8 months old she started showing signs of resource guarding and food aggression. I have had to give my other dog away because they kept getting into fights. I have had 2 kids since getting her and she doesn't have the patience for young children. She has growled at them a couple times when encroaching into her space. She has never bitten anyone but I could not forgive myself if the situation happened with one of the children. I have to keep her separated most of the day which I don't think is a good life for a dog that needs a lot of attention and exercise. She is a good dog 99% of the time, but has some moody tendencies with resource guarding. Its not predictable. Sometimes it bothers her and sometimes it doesn't. Hopefully can find someone that can take her because she can't stay with me anymore.
