****When responding please use our application at sparrowdogs.com, or tell us about yourself,(family, home, yard/fence, other pets, work hours..) Sorry, NO phone calls, email only. PLEASE read thru her post about her description, she is not the dog for everyone, no small kids!) Thanks!*************** Well, not the best pictures of this Silly Gilly guy...yet!! I suppose even professional photographers deal with unruly subjects(LOL!) and do their best to get some OK pics. We tried, we really tried. I put Gilly in a little tuxedo, he looked so handsome, we even spiked his mohawk. He was just striking, I say, run way worthy. He was not taking this endeavor quite as seriously as I was. After all, Gilly is a silly, fun loving little guy that looks to get the most out of life. He is sweet, of course hilarious, spunky, loves everyone, even kids!! Gilly, or Gilligan as his Mom might have called him when he got out of hand, is looking for an equally fun loving family. Gilly is about 2 years old, possibly 3, we do not know. He was abandoned(poor little guy!) and then got attacked by another dog. We were told a good Samaritan took him to and emergency vet clinic where they helped Gilly. The shelter had him listed as Chihuahua/Yorkie mix. We do not really know, but he has more of a wirey coat, possibly a little less shedding, and has a leggy and petite build. He is about 9 pounds but is working on putting on some weight. Unlike his other buddies he has met in his foster home. Which, BTW, he fit in asap...Gilly is a guy that just loves everyone, loves to have fun and has never met a stranger. He is such a sweet little, silly, playful, goofy and lovable boy....we just adore him! Gilly is perfecting his housebreaking skills, and since he was not neutered when he arrived still felt the need to mark. But--!!---he has been doing fantastic. We are so proud of him, and now that he has been neutered it will be so much easier for him in his new home. But, with any dogs we adopt out we always encourage frequent potty breaks, especially after meals and naps. And lots of 'atta boys!!' Gilly will do well with an active family. He is not the kind of boy that will do well being left alone for long hours. If you are a little funky yourself, appreciates quirks in other people, (and dogs) and enjoy the lighter side of life, perhaps Gilly would love to join you on your journey. His adoption fee is $350.
