Meet Molly Who is that hiding behind the mask?? It's our new kitty Molly! Molly came to us with 3 housemates when her mom was forced to move into a new apartment that did not allow pets. Molly and her companions were shattered, and are trying to be so brave. Molly is a gorgeous tortoise kitty with bright markings and a purrfect stripe down her face. Molly is a young kitty, born around the first of the year. She is just finding her way in the community cat room but welcomes snuggles from anyone who takes the time to reach out for her. Molly (and maybe one of her housemates) would make a wonderful forever companion for the lucky home that chooses her. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out-of-state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship, nor do we transport them to their new homes. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are primarily owner relinquished and also accepted from local Animal Control. The facility usually operates at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
