Bindi, a Shih Tzu/Poodle mix weighing 16 pounds is estimated to be two years old. According to shelter records, she was left alone for 12 hours at a time, and the main reason she was surrendered is for peeing in the house. In foster care she is using a pet door and not having this issue. Bindi's coat was horribly neglected, and she was shaved down while under anesthesia for her spay. She also had to be sedated for grooming. However, she has made so much progress since then. Bindi has been misunderstood, neglected, and scolded when all she wants is love. She is very treat motivated, which will be handy for training. She will need a foster and/or adopter who has time to dedicate to her. Bindy is fearful at first with new people but warms up quickly and wants nothing more than to follow you around. When I am sitting on my couch, she loves to sit high by my shoulders on the top of the couch. She loves affection. She also has some spunk, and you might witness a bout of the zoomies. She is spayed, up-to-date, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $275. Please visit www.misfitsdogrescue.org to apply.
