*TO SUBMIT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION GO TO WWW.APLACEOFHOPERESCUE.COM* DENIM is a 5 month old, 11 pound female Pom mix puppy LOCATION: Pensacola FL NEEDS: Loving active family to grow up with! HIGHLIGHTS: Puppy breath, playful and snuggly! Denim was born into rescue on June 10th to mom Daisey, a pretty 17 pound Pom mix. We don't know who the daddy is but our best guess is that she will be a medium sized pup (about 25 pounds) fully grown. That's a perfect size for kids and an active family! Adorable DENIM is an almost all black female, with tiny little smidges of white on her chest and toes. She is an energetic and fun girl and definitely loves to play, whether it's with toys or another pup. She would probably do well with or without a fur-sibling, but she would prefer a doggy playmate. If she is an only dog, daily physical activity and playtime are necessary and she shouldn't spend too many hours alone. Denim is a smart girl who needs stimulation and boredom will probably bring about some bad habits. She would make a great family pet, but little kids are probably not a great fit since she does tend to use her teeth a lot when she plays. Her foster mom has been redirecting her to a toy when she does this but, like everything else with puppies, it will take practice. When Denim isn't busy playing or napping, she loves to cuddle up in a dog bed with another pup or snuggle on the couch right next to you. If she decides to lie at the top of the couch by your head, be ready for kisses! At night Denim sleeps in a large cozy crate with 2 other pups and they snuggle up together and sleep through the night. She is working on potty training, and her foster mom says she's doing great! Denim has visited the vet for a wellness check, has been fecal tested and wormed, is spayed, has had three sets of puppy shots, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. If you would like to give her a home, please submit an app! *We are located in Pensacola Florida. Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral issues are only adoptable within a 1 hour drive to Pensacola. Most others we will consider within a 5-hour drive. We do not ship or transport our dogs. *We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a facility. Our dogs live in private homes in and around the Pensacola area until they are adopted. *We review multiple applications for each dog and pick the best fit. We are not always able to respond to every application.
