About River

River is a one-year-old St. Bernedoodle. He is 54.5% poodle, 18.8% St. Bernard, and 26.7% Bernese Mountain Dog. Embark DNA testing is cleared of any health issues or genetic disorders. River is non-shedding and has a cream/cinnamon color coat. River loves everyone - adults, kids, dogs, cats. He has never been aggressive and loves to snuggle up to his person on the couch. He has all his vaccinations and has been neutered. He was recently groomed and is up-to-date on his flea/tick and heartworm prevention. River has been through some basic training, but he is stubborn and will follow commands when he wants to. He has bursts of high energy and loves to run around the yard with our grandchildren. River needs a family that has the energy to match his. He will jump a 4 foot fence, so he needs a taller privacy type fence. My husband and I have health issues that make it difficult to keep up with him, he is 97 pounds, but is still in the puppy phase. River is a great family dog. He is house trained and crate trained and sleeps in a crate without issues.
