URGENT - Fospice/Adopter Needed ASAP!! Meet Osito. A sweet 13-year-old neutered male heartworm negative small terrier mix. He came in as a stray and hopefully his owners will find him but if not, he is going to need your help. When the shelter vet looked at him yesterday, she stated it was a limited exam due to patient trembling throughout the exam, poor guy! But he had no problems accepting peanut butter treats and permitted petting, and less is more type of handling, (Cue giggle!) Osito was also OK when shelter staff took his pictures and he did let them pet him. A tad standoffish at times, but hey, he's 13 and a senior he can pretty much do like he wants!!! He does have dental disease, lenticular, sclerosis and mild to moderate arthritis. So, if you or someone you know are interested in adopting Osito.
